August 2001:
Considering Alexander Foundation goes online with a brand new website: www.sidsfoundation.org
SIDS doesn't take the summer off, and 'Considering Alexander' has been busy looking at new ways to raise awareness of Sudden Infant Death Syndrome, sometimes known as Crib or Cot Death, so as to spread their message as widely as possible.
This website represents the Foundation's first foray into the world of the Internet, which is intended to take Considering Alexander's message far beyond its home territory. The site will be refined and improved as user preferences and desires are identified.
"We're very excited to be able to increase our exposure through our new Internet site," said Esmeralda Williamson-Noble, Founder and President of Considering Alexander SIDS Foundation, Inc. "We think the choice of www.sidsfoundation.org as our domain name is very pertinent, as a Foundation that was started as a result of one little boy's tragedy is now becoming an important voice in the world wide SIDS forum. We intend to do much more. We will not rest until Cot Death is stamped off the face of this Earth. In the meantime, for 'Considering Alexander' to contribute to any reduction whatsoever in annual SIDS statistics would be worth all our efforts."
'Considering Alexander' will keenly welcome your own feedback or input. Please return here often for future updates and thank you for taking the time to visit our colorful new online showcase.
